Biography

Alan Leeds has had a diversified career, beginning as a Psychologist in New York and Iowa. After several years in that capacity, he switched to the business world, becoming a management consultant. He started his own business, Leemak Training Systems, where his expertise in strategy deployment and change management methodologies helped companies deliver tangible operating results. He led numerous Fortune 500 companies such as Raytheon, Cisco Systems and Texas Instruments to effect these changes, pioneering both innovative processes and tools
Alan’s experiences in consulting provided the foundation for the methodology upon which Y-Change, his current software company, is based. The belief that successful deployment of a company’s goals and objectives occurs when the strategy is cascaded throughout the company has enabled organizations such as Abbott Labs, Cisco Systems, and Great River Energy to convert their strategy into actions.
From National Conferences for the Association for Strategic Planning, ASQ (American Society for quality, San Jose Dept. of Social Services, to the National Kiwanis Conference in Sacramento, Alan has presented for a variety of organizations throughout the country. His topics range from Agile Strategy Execution (Agile2016) to “Enabling The AS-If Factor in Your Life”
Alan approaches each new endeavor with enthusiasm and energy, which are apparent during his motivational speaking engagements. As an award winning magician, he often incorporates magic in his presentations to get the audience involved in the experience and to make the presentation more memorable.
